Jason Waxman serves as President of the Hamilton Jewish Federation and as President & CEO of Oculus Wealth Management. He earned his Honours Bachelor of Commerce at McMaster University and his Master of Science in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Columbia University.
Tanya Michailovich is a master educator specializing in the development and teaching of Hebrew language curricula, grounded in the language proficiency model. She holds a B.Ed. in Special Education and Master’s degrees in Historical Sciences and in teaching Hebrew as a foreign language.
Dr. Ben Klein is a Developmental Pediatrician at Lansdowne Children’s Centre and a faculty member in Health Sciences at McMaster University. He collaborates with multidisciplinary teams of health professionals, teachers, parents, and school administrators to develop effective strategies to address the unique and diverse needs of students.
David Horwood serves as Vice president of The Effort Trust Company. He is the past-President of Shalom Village, a senior care facility in Hamilton, and recently concluded his term as a member of McMaster University’s Board of Governors. David is a board member of the Federation of Rental-housing Providers of Ontario (FRPO), where he has previously served as Chairman.
Rabbi Daniel Green is the Dean of Hamilton Hebrew Academy and Rabbi of Adas Israel Congregation. He founded Jewish outreach centers for young professionals in New York and Toronto and earned a Master’s in Jewish Philosophy from Bernard Revel Graduate School.
Romy Friedman is a distinguished and innovative educator with extensive experience. She earned her B.Sc. from McGill University and a Master’s in Education from the University of British Columbia. Romy has served as a consultant to the Harvard Graduate School of Education and authored educational materials for Oxford University Press. She currently chairs the Education Committee for the Hamilton Jewish Federation.
Anna Shkolnik is the Founding Principal of Hamilton Academy of Performing Arts and served as Principal of Columbia International College. She holds a Master’s in Education, is a Math Specialist, and earned her Ontario Principal credentials.
